Pabellón para para la fabrica de automóviles Porsche, Henn

El pabellón para para la fabrica de automóviles Porsche está ubicado en el parque temático del Autostadt de Wolfsburg. Resalta la importancia de Porsche dentro del Grupo Volkswagen. El edificio esta ubicado en el eje central del parque temático y ofrece espacio para exposiciones de autos históricos y lugar para presentaciones de nuevos modelos de automóviles. La forma orgánica del edificio, un techo de acero curvado de formas aerodinámicas derivadas de la imagen Porsche, tiende a convertirse en un icono en medio del paisaje de la laguna. Las líneas curvas generadas a partir de la estructura de hierro y los 25 metros en voladizo en el centro del pabellón asemejan a una escultura dinámica, con un revestimiento de acero inoxidable de acabado mate sin costuras que genera una sensación de homogeneidad destacable. 

Debajo del voladizo de la cubierta se abre un espacio externo protegido que ofrece asientos para el público, conectado visualmente con el paisaje circundante. Dentro del pabellón, una rampa en espiral une las puertas superior e inferior circundando una sala de exposiciones, que permite a los visitantes experimentar la historia de los autos deportivos de la marca. El Porsche original número 1.356 construido en 1948 es el punto de partida de un enjambre de 25 modelos de vehículos de color plata a escala de 1:3, ubicados en el área de exhibición principal.

Hace unas semanas, la empresa Dr.Ing. h. c. F. Porsche AG celebró la inauguración de su Porsche Pavilion en el Autostadt de Wolfsburg en presencia de 200 invitados de honor. Por primera vez desde su apertura en el año 2000, el parque temático recibe otra estructura de edificio en forma de nuevo Pabellón Porsche, que expresa la importancia de Porsche dentro de la familia del Grupo Volkswagen.
El edificio es único y su construcción es extraordinaria. Este pabellón también tiene una dimensión simbólica e histórica, ya que alude a las raíces comunes a través de las cuales Porsche y Volkswagen han estado conectados desde el principio y seguirán estando conectados en el futuro”, dice Matthias Müller, CEO de Porsche AG. Como uno de los principales destinos automovilísticos del mundo y plataforma de comunicación de Volkswagen, ofrecemos a nuestros clientes una visión de nuestras marcas, valores y filosofía. El edificio, de forma orgánica, está situado en el eje central del parque temático, en un lugar privilegiado, en el Pabellón Volkswagen, y ofrece 400 m² de espacio para exposiciones y presentaciones. Su característica silueta se convertirá en un icono distintivo en medio del paisaje lagunar de la Autostadt.

Las líneas curvas y las curvas emocionantes hacen del Pabellón una escultura dinámica pero reducida, con sus características derivadas de la imagen de marca de Porsche. Según el diseño de HENN, la estructura capta el flujo dinámico de la conducción con un revestimiento del edificio sin fisuras. Sus líneas aumentan la velocidad y disminuyen la velocidad sólo para sumergirse en grandes curvas con radios siempre cambiantes. Un revestimiento de acero inoxidable con acabado mate forma la envoltura enrasada de esta estructura vibrante, creando la impresión de una unidad homogénea, al tiempo que crea una apariencia que cambia continuamente dependiendo de las condiciones de luz y clima. En la entrada, el pabellón voladizo se encuentra a 25 m sobre la superficie de agua de la laguna. Debajo del voladizo de la gran cubierta asimétrica se abre un espacio exterior protegido. Este espacio está conectado visualmente con el paisaje circundante, pero forma su propio recinto acústico, proporcionando asientos para unos pocos cientos de huéspedes. La arquitectura y el paisaje, el interior y el exterior, así como el tejado y la fachada, están unidos por HENN en su concepto arquitectónico de un continuo coherente y fluido. El área externa alrededor del pabellón fue diseñada por los arquitectos paisajistas WES e integrada en el concepto general del parque temático. Así es como la nueva piazzetta crea una conexión entre el Pabellón Porsche y el adyacente Pabellón de Vehículos Comerciales de Volkswagen por medio de grifos y árboles. Paseando por el escultórico Pabellón del Porsche, se pueden descubrir otros aspectos destacados de la Autostadt.
Al igual que la tecnología de construcción monocasco utilizada para las estructuras ligeras en las industrias automovilística y aeroespacial, la envolvente del edificio forma un cerramiento espacial y al mismo tiempo actúa como estructura portante. En un astillero de Stralsund se prefabricaron un total de 620 chapas de acero inoxidable con nervios soldados y se ensamblaron in situ.
En el interior del pabellón se abre un espacio concentrado que permite al visitante conocer la marca de coches deportivos Porsche y su historia, pero dejando de lado los límites y las limitaciones convencionales de la percepción. La rampa, de forma elíptica y curvilínea, adopta el principio dinámico de la arquitectura y conduce al visitante a las zonas inferiores del escenario de la exposición. El concepto de exposición y puesta en escena creado por hg merz architekten museumsgestalter y jangled nerves combina la evolución, la ingeniería y la fascinación de Porsche en una imagen impresionante de tradición orientada al futuro. El Porsche Original -un 356 No.1 construido en 1948- es el punto de partida de un enjambre de 25 modelos de vehículos de color plateado a escala 1:3, que se exhiben en la principal zona de exposición.
Tradición e innovación, rendimiento y practicidad en el día a día, diseño y funcionalidad, exclusividad y aceptación social: Estos cuatro términos antagónicos caracterizan los valores y la filosofía de Porsche. Una película sobre la historia de la empresa, historias sonoras sobre modelos seleccionados de Porsche, así como tablets PC con más información sobre los vehículos expuestos, hacen que la experiencia de esta visita sea perfecta.

A few weeks ago the Dr .Ing. h. c. F. Porsche AG celebrated the opening of their Porsche Pavilion at the Autostadt in Wolfsburg in the presence of 200 guests of honor.

For the first time since its opening in 2000, the theme park receives another building structure in the form of the new Porsche Pavilion, which expresses the importance of Porsche within the Volkswagen Group family.

‘The building is unique and its construction is extraordinary. This pavilion also has a symbolic and historical dimension, as it hints at the common roots through which Porsche and Volkswagen have been connected from the very beginning and will continue to be connected also in future’, says Matthias Müller, CEO of Porsche AG. ‘As a worldwide leading automobile destination and communication platform for Volkswagen, we provide insights into our brands, values and philosophy for our guests. With the Porsche Pavilion we start a new chapter in the history of the Autostadt’, adds Otto F. Wachs, Director of the Autostadt.

The organically shaped building is sitting – in mirrored location to the Volkswagen Pavilion- at the central axis of the theme park and offers 400 m2 of space for exhibitions and presentations. Its characteristic silhouette will become a distinctive icon amid the lagoon landscape of the Autostadt.
